An early stage before the layering process and closeups of the grass textures and perspective of distance.

Relevance to my work

This piece explores how light, colour, and layering can be used to create depth within an environment. Developing this understanding has been important for my progression into motion design, particularly when building atmospheric scenes and using foreground, midground, and background elements to create a sense of immersion.

About This Work

This landscape explores perspective, depth, and colour balance across a wide scene. I used foreground detail and softer background elements to create distance. The composition leads the viewer’s eye through the image, reflecting my interest in visual storytelling.
